Physical
Height: 5' 6" Weight: 135lbs Build: Kyle is a skinny, gangly creature. He has long, lean limbs with compact powerful muscles. His feral gene has left him with a somewhat disturbing appearance, his hair worn long with claws tipping his fingers and toes. His face is lean and his blue eyes appear crazed more often than not. He tends to crouch rather than sit or stand, and his ears form points. Eyes: Blue or gold, depending on how feral he is Hair: Blond Features: Kyle has distinctive leaf shaped ears and cat-slitted eyes. Skin tone/distinguishing marks: Kyle always seems to be slightly tanned, his healing factor prevents lasting scars and tattoos. He has thick eyebrows and patches of fur framing his jaw.
Personality
Overall personality: Gibney is oddly upbeat for his unstable past, he taking on the role as he grinning smart ass, always ready with a one-liner. He is insanely loyal and truly wants nothing more than to have a team, a home, a family. This is, of course, easier said than done for a hardly-contained feral, and this blind desire for acceptance leaves him open for manipulation. He is honest, if only for the fact that he cannot lie well, and has a very causal speech pattern, often slurring, grumbling or contracting words almost beyond recognition. Kyle's temper and feral side are kept in check by a hair's breath. Angering him, especially too close to a full moon, can result in a rather violent out bust from the youth. He is also endlessly restless and has a habit of blurting out the first thing that comes to mind, this usually getting him into trouble with those around him, even if it is meant in a light-hearted way. He is rather simple minded, often having trouble thinking out larger plans, and his habits of crouching, running on all fours, sniffing people and objects, and sneaking up on people usually result in his being socially awkward and avoided. Strengths: Kyle has incredible strength for his thin form. Gibney is a natural acrobat and gymnast, and uses this extensively in his fighting. He is very good at 'playing dumb,' his strange appearance and manic grin adds to this, so he is more aware of what is going on around him than most would guess. Flaws: Kyle is not highly educated, having dropped out of school at the age of fifteen. While he can understand commands, his desire to follow them is always a question. Between his healing factor and the usual rashness of youth, he has a Superman complex and simply refuses to believe he could actually be seriously wounded, much less killed. Kyle also has an odd, crazed soft spot or women, becoming very defensive of any female who will so much as look at him twice.
Background
Family: The status and whereabouts of Kyle's parents are unknown as of Magneto's occupation of Canada. Marital Status: Single History: Gibney lived a relatively peaceful life until he turned fifteen, when his violent temper and tenancy towards violence and a general fear of mutants pushed his parents to kick him from the house. Deciding that if humans did not want him then the mutants might, Kyle traveled to the Canadian pickup point and was ushered into the Mutant Nation. His rebellious spirit found him in the Weapon X program, where his healing factor made him the subject of different experiments. These experiments resulted in the surfacing of his feral gene and some radical, bestial mutations. More animal than man, the teen was quickly sent into the front lines, helping Magneto conquer his home country. Further experiments have allowed Gibney to return to a more normal and controlled mindset, though he is still a restless and destructive teen at heart. Full history can be found here.
Other
Mutation: Kyle Gibney is an odd mess of natural agility and healing and a forced, unnatural feral mutation. He naturally possesses superhuman speed, agility, reflexes, endurance, coordination, balance, a ferocious temper and a healing factor. Kyle heals a little more than twice as fast as a normal human, this makes his healing rate significantly below those of the two more well known ferals. In the case of more extreme injuries, such as severed limbs, the limb will need to be stitched back onto his body in order for his healing factor to have the ability mend the wound. His healing factor also slows his aging, his healing ability began to surface at the age of thirteen, but did not truly begin to slow his aging until he was approximately fifteen years old. So while Kyle has been alive for 26 years, he is physically, hormonally and emotionally 18 years of age. It is unknown if he would have naturally continued to mutate without the experimentations or not. The experiments which Weapon X subjected him to caused him to mutate into a feral mutant. His teeth and nails hardened and became strong enough to rend substances as thick as bone, he also developed superhuman smell, sight, hearing and pointed ears. His rather bestial mind also prevents him from being possessed. While his mind can be tapped, read and even imprinted by telepaths, he cannot be possessed or controlled. If the reason for this is a kind of psychic dead zone as with the two more well known fearls, or if this is simply because he does not have enough of a mind to be possessed is open for debate. To other ferals, Kyle is physically recognized as a more feline mutant, however his scent and his mental state is much more like a wolf or canine.
